An Evening in the World of Kubota
Some sake is simply drunk. Kubota is contemplated. Brewed by Asahi Shuzo in Niigata Prefecture, Kubota has long stood as a benchmark of Japanese refinement — clean, precise, and quietly extraordinary.
On the 15th of April, Mitto invites you to set aside the ordinary and step into an evening shaped entirely around this legendary label. A single night, two sessions, limited seats — and four expressions of Kubota that will leave you seeing sake in an entirely new light.
Each pour unfolds gradually — from the effervescent welcome of a sparkling sake through to the silken complexity of the Junmai Daiginjo, paired throughout with our chef's specially curated tasting menu. This is not a tasting flight. This is a narrative.
The Evening’s Journey
01: Welcome — Sparkling Sake A chilled, effervescent opening to set the tone for the evening ahead.
02: Eight Expressions of Kubota Discover a curated selection of eight Kubota sake bottles, including Junmai and Junmai Daiginjo, with each pour revealing a new dimension of the brewery’s craft.
03: Chef’s Special Menu A specially curated menu from Mitto’s kitchen, thoughtfully designed to complement each sake throughout the evening.
